From June 23 to July 21 the senior associate of the LF «Moskalenko and Partners» Irina Basova took part at the American College Program "Survey of International Organizations" at the University of Fribourg.
American College Program (ACP) іs a study abroad program at the University of Fribourg, which for the past 85 years was attended by more than 5000 participants. Summer courses are held in English and provide an overview of the objectives, functioning and values of the key international organizations for students.
This year "Survey of International Organizations" program included 4 modules: International law and Human Rights, International Economic Relations, the European Union, Policy and Advocacy. The participants of the summer program had the opportunities to visit and to found out more about the specifics of the basic institutions of public international law such as the United Nations, including the UN Agency for Refugees, the World Trade Organization, the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Council of Europe, including the European Court on Human rights and the European Parliament of EU.
Participation in the program provides students close acquaintance with the cultural and political life of modern Switzerland and Europe.
