Partner of the LF “Moskalenko and Partners” Julia Kondratska made a business visit to the capital of the United Kingdom

December 6, Julia Kondratska took part in the international conference “Inside Ukraine 2011: a success story in the making?” hosted by “The Economist” (British journal) and Ukrainian Foundaion for Effective Governance. The event is held the second year in consequence and gathers representatives of major international companies operating in the Ukrainian market, experts, politicians and journalists to discuss the issues concerning investment risks and opportunities in Ukraine.
This year main speakers on behalf of the Ukrainian Government were the Minister for Infrastructure Boris Kolesnikov and the Minister for Social Policy Sergey Tigipko. Also, among active participants at the conference were the Member of Parliament Nataliya Korolevska, businessman and politician Petro Poroshenko, the President of American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Jorge Zukoski, senior expert on political issues of the European Council on Foreign Relations, Andrew Wilson and many other influential persons. Together with them Julia Kondratska discussed the reformation of the Ukrainian economy, judicial system problems and the level of investor protection in Ukraine.
December 7, Ukrainian-British City Club (hereinafter – the Club) gathered its members and friends at the House of Commons of the British Parliament to celebrate the sixth anniversary of the Club foundation on November 24. Partner of the LF "Moskalenko & Partners" Julia Kondratska was among the guests.
On the opening of the event warm welcomes were made by John Whittingdale, Chair of All Party Parliamentary Ukraine Group and a member of the Advisory Council of the Club, Irina Tymczyszyn, director of the Club and the first Ukrainian-born female lawyer of English qualification elected as a partner of the City law firm “Bryan Cave”, Andrii Kuzmenko, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Ukraine, and Vasyl Myroshnychenko, Head of Ukrainian Office of the Club. The celebration was also attended by representatives of other City Clubs. Guests tasted Ukrainian dishes and celebrated the birthday of the Club which is an important platform for making business networking, investment promotion, contribution to trade and mutual understanding between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
Also during December business visit to London Julia Kondratska had a meeting with Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain Fedir Kurlak. Ms. Kondratska and Mr. Kurlak discussed the relations between Ukraine and the United Kingdom and possible ways of cooperation between LF "Moskalenko & Partners" and the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain.
